Former Italy striker Antonio Cassano has illustrated Inter’s performances this season.
“Over the last five games, Eriksen, like the rest of Inter, has been playing different football. Two and a half months ago, the club gained confidence. But it’s not Inter who are playing football, it’s Atalanta,” Cassano said for Bobo TV.
“Inter stoops too low, wait for the opponent to start pressing and then throw the ball to Lukaku. Inter are bound to win the Scudetto and will do so, but they are not showing good football.”
“PSG and City are playing. Inter on the other hand was ridiculous in the Champions League, they performed even worse than Shakhtar. Inter still does not play well, especially in Europe. In Italy, you take to the pitch once a week.”
“If Conte makes big mistakes, it’s his problem. Does he not understand that he is not Guardiola? A game for the Champions League? He takes us for idiots, but I’m not stupid. The Italian championship is mediocre and Europe is something else.”
Inter are top of the Serie A standings, four points ahead of runners-up AC Milan. They face Parma in the next round.
