Juventus President Andrea Agnelli talked about Maurizio Sarri, the former head coach of the team.
“I have great memories of Maurizio as a person. He has a good sense of humor, there are several interests besides football. But the game is his main passion, and he is all in it. I’m glad he won the Scudetto with us.”
“Over the years, I have seen our team spirit improve, allowing the team to overcome difficulties that seem invincible,” Agnelli said to official website of the club.
“I don’t think that there was ever chemistry between Maurizio and Juventus. Despite this, we won the Scudetto together. This cup will be placed in our museum. Sarri went down in the history of Juventus as a coach who won Serie A.”
After the match against Lyon, Sarri left out of 1/8 finals of the Champions League, winning Serie A with Juve last season. Former Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo has been heading Juventus since the new season.
