Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has reached another milestone in his managerial career. Carlo Ancelotti has reached the landmark of 800 league games as a manager, the club’s press office reports the latest football news. He celebrated the success with a 2-1 victory over one of the toughest rivals – Valencia at the Mestalla.
In 1966 Ancelotti started his coaching career as a top-flight manager with Parma, where he managed the side for 68 league games. Next ‘stops’ were Juventus with 84 games in charge, AC Milan (238), Chelsea (76), Paris Saint-Germain (57), Bayern Munich (40), Napoli (53) and Everton (58).
After 76 games between 2013 and 2015 along with those five in his second spell at the club, the legendary Italian has had his 81st game at the helm of Real Madrid. Ancelotti has won several league titles in Italy, England France and Germany. On top of that, he’s a three-time Champions League title winner.
Carlo Ancelotti coached Real Madrid for 2 years from 2013 to 2015 in his first spell, he completed a football transfer to the club as manager again on June 1, 2021, from Everton, replacing Zinedine Zidane. After Ancelotti reached 800 league games milestone he shared the excitement of working at Real Madrid.
“I am living my honeymoon in Madrid and I hope to stay for many years. Like everyone else, we started with some difficulties but we have a great spirit, we managed to make corrections during the games based on our character”, – the Italian told the press,” Marca reports.
Carlo Ancelotti lead Los Blancos between 2013 and 2015 winning the Champions League, the Club World Cup, one domestic Cup, and Super Cup now having his second spell at the club.
