Ancelotti on 0-1 against West Ham: It was an even game

Carlo Ancelotti head coach of Everton has reviewed the results of the match of the 17th round of the EPL with West Ham (0-1).

“It was an even game – neither us nor the opponent had many chances,” said the Italian to BBC.

“It wasn’t our best performance, we were slow and West Ham gave a great performance.”

“We have to accept the result, but it’s important to keep faith in ourselves. We are more comfortable defensively and counterattacking. When we have the ball, we have more trouble – we need to fix that.”

“We are now where we would like to be [in the top 4] and we hope to stay here at the end of the season. That’s our goal.”
