Ancelotti hopes AC Milan takes the Serie A title

Everton head coach Carlo Ancelotti has given his views on the Serie A title race.

“I hope AC Milan take [the championship], even if it will be difficult. Inter have picked up a good pace,” Ancelotti said to Sky Sport Italia.

“I’m afraid my friend Antonio Conte will not share that desire with me.”

From 2001-2009 Ancelotti coached AC Milan and won Serie A and two Champions Leagues with the club.

Milan is currently second in the league table with 53 points, three points behind Inter, who have a game to spare.
