Richarlison is given a target of 30 goals next season by Carlo Ancelotti in an operation to turn Everton into real European contenders.
The three assists and 13 goals of Brazil forward represent 37 percent of the total Premier League goals of Everton this season – the seventh-largest single supporter to the league goals of a club this term.
Talking to the club this week, Richarlison headlined his intention to overtake the 20-goal mark next campaign.
“I believe Richarlison is incorrect to suggest that the aim will be 20. The target doesn’t have to be 20 for him. This should as a minimum be 30.”Ancelotti told Sky Sports.
“I had got players who were able to score 60 goals in a season-it doesn’t matter the name [Cristiano Ronaldo scored 61 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid in 2014/15].”
“But also in Britain, Didier Drogba hit 29 goals in one Premier League season alone. Perhaps the aim of Richarlison will be 30-not 20.”
