Following positive results for COVID-19 on one swab and negative results on the other,
Two of the Pharma players have been isolated.
Both the members of the team and the personnel – about 60 people – checked out both double swabs and blood tests, stated The club ‘s statement.
Except for two players who were asymptomatic and isolated all tests returned negative.
“Both of them were positive on the first test and negative on the second that was performed 24 hours later. The athletes, both in excellent condition and asymptomatic, have nonetheless been immediately isolated and the club will monitor them constantly.”
As confirmed by the Prime Minister at this evening’s press conference, the rest of the squad will begin a training retreat on Monday, May 18, at which point group training will be allowed.
Before they were allowed to train with their teammates, all players had to pass a double swab test. Negative testing could have meant that they had a full recovery.
