Alex Telles will fly with the squad to face Uruguay, after checking negative for COVID-19, announced the Brazilian FA.
For the past few days, the Manchester United man’s health has been up in the air. A couple of weeks back, he tested positive for the virus and returned to service after a negative result, only to test positive again earlier this week.
United publicly doubted the results of the test and acknowledged that they had a close watch on matters, and they would be pleased to see that Telles has tested negative since then and is now in contention on Tuesday for Brazil’s meeting with Uruguay.
Brazil reported on their official website, that Telles is probably already bearing an incredibly weak strain of the virus that derives from his original positive test, but that he will continue to play because it is no longer infectious.
