Ajax striker Huntelaar returned to Schalke 

The official website of Schalke reports Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has returned to the club.

Until the end of the season, the 37-year-old player from the Netherlands has signed a contract. He will feature as number 21.

Huntelaar scored 126 goals in 240 games for the Gelsenkirchen-based club and has played for Schalke from 2010 to 2017. 

The player had previously indicated his intention to end his career at the end of the season.
