Mesut Ozil’s agent confirmed that during the transfer window this summer Arsenal attacker won’t leave the Emirates Stadium.
The 31-year-old has not played a minute of football for the Gunners, since the restart, and ahead of the 2020-21 campaign he ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Before probably leaving on a free transfer at the end of next season, Ozil will remain with Mikel Arteta’s side this summer, according to the former representative of Germany international Erkut Sogut.
“I don’t think that Mesut will be leaving before the 2021 summer,” Sogut told Fanatik. “He has a permanent contract that hasn’t changed. He’ll stay with Arsenal.”
“I’m estimating there’s a 90 percent chance he’ll leave Arsenal when his deal is up. Maybe of Asia, of America, of Turkey? Who does know?”
Arsenal is expected to take on London’s rivals Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Ozil’s salaries at Arsenal are believed to be around £350,000 a week.
