Adam Lallana departed from Liverpool for Brighton and explained his move, describing the Seagulls as “the perfect fit.”
“I don’t think I’m really in my comfort zone for me in my life now if you know me as an individual,” Lallana told talkSPORT.
“I still try to change myself, and to develop.”
“This might be viewed by many as a brave act, but I see it as a very measured but perfect phase. The match perfectly. It’s definitely going to go down as a major signing for Brighton but I don’t see it that way. I see it as a major step to come to a great club with tremendous expectations for myself. I look forward to being a part of a fantastic journey ahead.”
“I see Brighton qualities. I see the infrastructure in there. I have been interacting with the manager. Talked to Chairman and technical director Dan Ashworth. There’s a strategy, a dream, and a mission in there.”
“I’m just so happy to be part of it. Add to something that they already have and ideally develop any aspect. Willingness to know to want to develop as a team to an individual so I hope we will make strong improvement.”
