Zlatan Ibrahimovic assisted on two goals before the red card was shown as AC Milan beat Parma 3–1 to keep their modest hopes of a title in Italy’s Serie A Football League alive. AC Milan won Serie A with goals scored by Ante Rebssich, Frank Casey, and Rafael Leo, while Ricardo Gaggiolo scored the only goal for Parma, who was in the lower league.
At Stadio Ennio Tardini, AC Milan won Serie A as the team a strong start to the game against Parma away with Franck Kessie testing the goalkeeper early in the game before Ante Rebic put the Rossoneri in front in the 8th minute after being set up by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Rossoneri controlled the match for a long time, but then Ibrahimović came into action. The Swede probably insulted the referee and was punished with a red card. Parma took the wind in their sails.
Ibrahimovic was shown a red card in the 60th minute, possibly after the referee had something to say. In other matches, Spezia made a strong comeback after trailing, scoring two goals in the final minutes to beat the last-placed Crotone 3-2. With this victory, Spezia took a 10 point lead over the teams facing the threat of slipping into the lower league. There is a 12 point difference between Crotone and 17th-placed Torino. Torino defeated Eudinesse 1–0.
