Mauro Icardi, Paris Saint-Germain forward could return to Italy in the January transfer window with AC Milan.
With AC Milan’s Inter Milan arch-rivals, Argentina International spent six years between 2013 and 2019, recording 124 goals in 219 appearances before leaving for the French capital.
However, according to AS, as they seek to bolster their attack, and those close to the 27-year-old may help to make a move Icardi is indeed a target for AC Milan.
The report claims that the striker’s wife and agent Wanda Nara is desperate to return to Italy for the sake of their family, and despite the hostility that Icardi may face by joining Inter’s bitter rivals Stefano Pioli would like to see Icardi line up alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the forefront of the Rossoneri attack.
Due to a knee injury, Argentinian is currently out of action, but Icardi boasts a strong return of 22 goals in 38 PSG matches since his arrival last year.
