AC Milan offered EUR20 million in two installments to Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Omur, according to reports.
As a depth choice for Hakan Calhanoglu or even as a starting spot competition, the versatile attacking midfielder could fit in as a playmaker in Milan’s 4-2-3-1. The contract would have contained a 10 % sell-on fee agreement.
The deal is expected to be canceled unless the club has already rejected a higher bid from Benfica of 23 million. The 21-year-old scored 4 goals and gave 3 assists in 21 games he played in all competitions last season as his side finished 2nd in the table.
MilanLive.it notes that the first bid from Milan has in fact been refused by the club interest of its young prospect at EUR 25 million and above.
