Juventus striker Alvaro Morata was handed a red card and suspended by the Disciplinary Commission for two games.

The FIGC has reduced the Juventus ban on Morata to one game, meaning he will be available on Sunday against Genoa.

A statement discloses that the FIGC ‘partially agrees and, by effect, reduces the disqualification penalty to 1 (one) effective competition day, with a fine of €8,000.’

The appeal by Juventus against the two-match suspension has led to a reduction to one game and on Sunday the Spanish forward will play against Genoa.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
