Confirming that Series A and B can start safely, FIGC President Gabriele Gravina ensures that tomorrow’s ‘reduced’ quarantine will become law,
The Federation has accomplished in assuring the CTS (technical science committee) to comfort the quarantine so that only the player who tests positive for COVID-19 will be excluded for 14 days and not all the team and training staff.
The government requires a new declaration, however, or first to revise the current decree to make it effective.
Gravina told RAI Sport, “I just spoke to Minister for Sport Vincenzo Spadafora, and he pledged the effort to reduce the quarantine tomorrow, which is good news for all those who are passionate about football,”
“The huge viewing figures for the Coppa Italia semi-finals show the passion that there is in the country and how much we wanted this moment to arrive.”
“We also received the good news today that the opening game for the European Championship will again be at the Stadio Olimpico when Italy takes on Turkey.”
