The full-time whistle ends a rather dismal performance from Tottenham FC, who did improve somewhat in the second half.
However, they couldn’t muster up any moments of magic to turn the game around, being stifled time after time by resolute Wolves defence.
The visitors, for all their electrifying attack in the first half, stood tall in the second to keep Tottenham at bay.
And The Wolves were fully deserving of both the scoreline and the three points.

Goals:
0-1. Wolves take the lead, and It’s desperately unlucky for Lloris, who saves from Neves, then Dendoncker, before finally being beaten by another rebound shot from Jimenez. It’s a well-taken half-volley from Mexico striker, which the Spurs keeper almost kept out.
0-2. Wolves have two!!! Dendoncker intercepts an awful interception from Davies and finds Podence in the box. His shot is well saved again by Lloris, but the ball deflects off Sanchez and Bentancur straight into the path of Dendoncker, who has followed in to stab the ball home. What a nightmare of a start for Tottenham.
So, what’s next for Tottenham FC and Wolves?
That brilliant performance sends Wolves up the table, climbing above Spurs into seventh, and Bruno Lage’s men are now just three points off the top four with a game in hand over fourth-placed West Ham.
For Spurs, it’s three defeats on the bounce, and Antonio Conte will need to reverse this slide sooner rather than later if his side remains in contention for European places.
