Chelsea is reportedly keen to continue the contract of Thiago Silva on the books at Stamford Bridge for the 2021-22 campaign.
The former Paris Saint-Germain stalwart showed no sign of slowing down at the age of 36, and since his arrival last summer, he has quickly become a leader in the Chelsea defense.
Having impressed the Blues in the current campaign, the Brazil international could be set to stay a little longer.
Silva only penned a one-year agreement with the capital outfit when he joined as a free agent.
In the coming weeks, the centre-back is set to sit down to discuss his future with the club but the general mood is “positive” and there is no pressure to tie up a deal soon, according to Fabrizio Romano.
