Jürgen Klopp, coach of Liverpool, has declared that Mohamed Salah has tested coronavirus negative and will undergo the tests required ahead of Atalanta.
In the Champions League, the Orobici face Liverpool this week at Anfield, and Salah looked set to miss out thanks to COVID-19.
The Egyptian international had tested negative, said Klopp after Sunday’s 3-0 Premier League victory over Leicester.
“That’s what I’ve heard, a negative today,” Klopp told Sky Sports. “I think from now he’s pretty normal in all the testing.”
“Tomorrow we have UEFA testing and I’m pretty sure he will be in that.”
“He can train with us tomorrow. There are two tests in the next two days, so he will be tested.”
