Jadon Sancho deal reports from Manchester United have been ‘leaked’ by the German magazine Bild.
As has been stated in various reports Borussia Dortmund is seeking a transfer fee of between €100 and €120 million and the 20-year-old is the main summer transfer priority for United.
The Red Devils ended the higher of those two sums in a contract centered on payment in three sections, the German source stated in a news article recently.
“70 + 30 + 20! With these figures Man United want to force Dortmund to sell Jadon Sancho this summer,” reporter Jorg Weiler said.
“BILD learned this from England: Since the Premier League side can’t afford the transfer price of EUR 120 million demanded by BVB at once because of the Corona situation, the team wants to finance the deal”
“Manchester can offer formula as follows: pay € 70 million. Then pay the remaining 50 million euros in two installments of 30 and 20 million over the next three years.”
Before concluding Weiler goes on to describe how after selling Ousmane Dembélé to Barcelona, Dortmund committed to this sort of deal:
“The truth is … Borussia won’t say NO with a transfer fee of 120 million — no matter how scraped the total together.”
In the early hours of this morning Soccer trade expert, Fabrizio Romano has fuelled the fire, tweeting “Man United’s plan has always been to compensate Sancho using ‘carry-ons’ and spend in more years. We are now trying to reach an understanding with BVB on this sort of contract. Let’s just see what’s going to happen next days.”
The agreement will see big transformations this week. The German team has categorically confirmed that within one week from today they expect things to finish up before they head to their pre-season training camp in Bad Ragaz.
