Goals:

1-0 Norwich, Normann switches play to Sargent, and it looks like the chance is gone as he makes a run to the left of the box. However, he manages to lay it off to Rashica, who takes it around Oxlade-Chamberlain before hitting the shot. Matip sticks out a leg but sends it looping out of Alisson’s reach and into the net.

1-1 Liverpool, Henderson switches it out to Tsimikas on the left, and Norwich is all over the place as he loops a header into the middle of the box. Mane watches it over his shoulder and goes for the acrobatic effort as he sends his overhead kick past Gunn.

2-1 Liverpool, And just like that, Liverpool lead! It’s a great long ball by Alisson and an even better first touch from Salah.

Gunn commits himself, coming out to the edge of the box to close down Salah. But, instead, he takes it around the keeper, leaving Gunn on the floor and coolly slots it into the empty net.

3-1 Liverpool, It’s simple through ball from Henderson that cuts straight through Norwich, and Diaz peeled off the back of Gibson. Williams sprints across, but he can’t get there in time to stop Diaz lifting a lovely chip over Gunn and into the far corner to open his account for the Reds.

So, what’s next for Liverpool and Norwich City?

Liverpool has now won each of their last eight games in all competitions, and they’re now six points behind Manchester City, who kick off shortly against Tottenham. Next up for them is Leeds United.

It’s a costly defeat for Norwich, who slip to the bottom of the table after wins for Burnley and Watford today. They have Southampton next time out.
