This year’s Ballon d’Or prize is proving far harder to predict than in previous seasons.

However, what with both footballing legends making earth-shattering moves this past summer, 2021’s Ballon d’Or winner is hard to call.

For one, there are many more names in the mix this time. Many nominees like Chelsea midfielder Jorginho and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema (the football news) present as strong contenders for the honour.

In fact, Ronaldo appears way down on the list because he is in 9th place and Luka Modric is 12th.
