Crystal Palace 1-1 Burnley

Crystal Palace and Burnley share the spoils after a hard-fought draw. The hosts dominated the first half: they took the lead through Schlupp after excellent work from Olise early on.

And Olise himself could have added to their lead with a few chances. However, Burnley was much improved after the break.

Straight after the interval, they forced an own goal from Milivojevic, and they had chances shortly after to go ahead.

Weghorst had a goal ruled out for offside before going close with a volley.

Palace regained their composure and piled the pressure on in the closing stages. Zaha hit the post and forced an excellent save, but Burnley held on for what might be an essential point.

So, where else do Crystal Palace and Burnley go from here?

The result means that Palace remains in 11th. Meanwhile, Burnley stays in 18th but moves within two points of Everton.
