Arsenal FC 2-1 Wolves

In their Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal FC comes from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Wolves.

The visitors took the lead through Hwang Hee-Chan following a mistake by Gabriel Magalhaes.

Wolves had not lost a Premier League match since November 2018 after going ahead, but the Gunners would break their imperious record.

Nicolas Pepe arrived off the bench to equalise with a left-footed strike before an own goal from Jose Sa would provide the decisive moment at the death as he deflected Alexandre Lacazette’s effort into the net.

It’s a massive win for Arsenal’s Champions League hopes.

1-0 Wolves. Gabriel plays a blind backpass to Ramsdale that Hwang intercepts in the box. He still has work to do from a tight angle to find the net, but he calmly places his effort into the bottom-right corner. Clinical from Hwang and a horrendous error from Gabriel.

1-1 Arsenal. Pepe converts on the turn from Nketiah’s offload to notch the equaliser for the Gunners. Nketiah makes a good run into the right inside channel and squeezes a pass back to the Ivorian. Pepe turns and then places his left-footed effort past Sa near the post.

2-1 Arsenal. The Gunners completes a second-half comeback as Lacazette’s strike from the angle is glanced into the net by Sa. The Frenchman latches on to an offload from Pepe and bursts into the right-inside channel. He scuffs his strike, but it deflects off the right hand of Sa as he tries to make the save into the left corner of the net. Cue massive celebrations from the home side.
