Alphonso Davies back to the training ground

Alphonso Davies tore ligaments in his right ankle since for the first time in a month he returned to the training pitch.

Before continuing his rehabilitation program with various running and coordination drills on Tuesday morning, the Canadian completed his first relaxed running session on Monday.

The left-back had suffered the injury going down unchallenged just moments after kick-off, in Bayern’s 5-0 win at home to Eintracht Frankfurt on 24 October.

Davies would be out for “six to eight weeks” assumed coach Hansi Flick.

The 20-year-old will continue his individual program in the coming days. There is still no date set for his return to team training.
