Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard is “recovering well” from his ankle surgery reveals Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez.
This 29-year-old went under surgery in the United States last month after another loss in his Bernabeu debut Campaign.
Martinez has confirmed that the former Chelsea attacker is close to being able to run again, however, the football matches interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic has reduced the number of games he missed during his absence due to injury.
Martinez quoted to the Sky Sports News, “I know he is recovering well. He is not far from running again and there are no complications”.
“ I have a positive feeling that Eden will be back soon on the field.”
“Everything went well with the operation, but you also hope that everything goes well in the four to five weeks afterward without complications, and there were none”
“We were also blessed or you can say lucky, of course, to have his surgery take place just before the coronavirus outbreak.”
