A long face of Erik Ten Hag at the end of the game as Derby Day was challenging and brought tragic news for Man United. Hag’s men were blasted in the game by Man City on Sunday. Earling Haaland and Phil Foden were ruling the field with their impressive style and aggressive gameplay. Man City neighbors to Man United beat 6-3 at Eithad stadium. From the first whistle was blown till the first half ended, Phil Foden and Haaland dominated with full control however later the substitute Antony’s stunning double score tried to catch up with the Man City. After being 20 times champions, questions will arise about Hag’s decision on Casemiro.

The performing side:

Casemiro: It would have been a better choice to start with Casemiro however Ten Hag avoided the decision and stick with Scott McTominay for the central midfield. This is one of the choices that he may regret later on the game day. Man United being ripped should have quickened to get him on the domestic lineup earlier. This is one of the most noteworthy games United wanted in the Premier League.

Antony: First half was missing Antony big time however later the Brazilian star was able to outperform with his 25-yard goal strike. Making the more significant impact in this game should have been noted for Ten Hag but soon Antony cleared the mindset that he can do the best when he needs to.

Anthony Martial: Martial received a penalty and secured 2 goals to his name all this was made possible after his recovery from the injuries. This clearly states his fitness works for him every time especially if he gets back to his pre-season form. His performance on Sunday could elevate his favorite position of central moving forward.

The losing side:

Diogo Dalot: Dalot was questioned about defensive capabilities lately and this proved to be eye-opening on Sunday. He was seen struggling to chase Jack Grealish and Haaland was able to move fast with pace causing a lot of torment in the game.

Christian Eriksen: This season has been quite positive for Eriksen but this game was seen facing trouble with misses on forwards which lead Phil Foden to take over and assist Haaland every chance he gets. Soon witnessing Raphael Varane’s injury, Haaland the Golden Boot striker then took that chance for the corner.

The final verdict that initiates this game gives an aerial view that Man United made a few mistakes and that error made them vulnerable on Sunday. Man City on the other side showed the aggressive side with maximum goal attempts and a higher possession rate.
