Thierry Henry has recorded longstanding Premier League assist in 2002-03 and Kevin De Bruyne has equaled the record for a single season.
The Belgian draws level with Henry’s record by securing his 20th goal of the campaign in the final league game of the season against Norwich.
De Bruyne is the fastest player in the history of the league to reach 50 assists.
He has also won the Season’s Premier League Playmaker award for the second time in three years.
The 29-year-old is the first player to register 15 + in three separate Premier League seasons.
