Bayern does not plan to wage off David Alaba from their books in the winter transfer window, reports Sport Bild.

On the extension of the contract expiring in 2021, the parties disagreed, however, the club will not seek to make money on the sale of an Austrian in January and has ruled out this option.

As long as possible, Bayern’s head coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, also wanted Alaba to stay at the club.

Alaba spent 12 years at Bayern. Earlier it was reported that Real Madrid and Barca are priority options for the player, but he was ready to move to Liverpool, City, Juve or PSG.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
