Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Connor Gallagher stole the show today with 2 goals against Crystal Palace. Patrick Vieira was left furious as Graham Potter took away 3 points. Chelsea saw no goals in the first half until the 38 minutes when Aubameyang got the chance to come up 1-1 with Crystal Palace. At the beginning of the first 10 mins, Odsonne Edouard didn’t skip the assist by Jordan Ayew and went for the goal. Later in the game, Thiago Silva had to see the ground right after the handball also lost possession to Jordan. Potter did feel good right before the final whistle of 90 mins when Connor saved the team with their final goal.

The Performing Side:

Graham Potter: Happy to see the team did well, it was not well deserved for him to see, could be a pain but the final verdict did bloom lately.

Connor Gallagher: Gallagher has spent his time at Selhurst Park, this midfielder was joyous and that was obvious. After struggling for the game time, the final minutes were the turning point of the game for Chelsea.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Aubameyang, is an amazing striker developed after Thomas Tuchel’s dismissal. After his time with Borussia Dortmund, where he played to the best of his skills, his goal today has proven his quality to the team and to Potter.

The Losing Side:

Wesley Fofana: Fofana has seen rough patches lately maybe this is the case his performance was blurry in the game. There were troubled passes, losing of possession, and not defending the position. He also lost visuals of Edouard.

Patrick Vieira: Chris Kavanagh booked Thiago Silva for intentionally handling the ball while Ayew was moving away from this center-back. He was upset in the game for many instances that occurred for fouls.

The Defence Side:

Thiago Silva: Giving away a free was a mistake however he was lucky to still be on the field.

Kepa: There was nothing he could have done well in the game after the absence of injured Edouard Mendy.

Reece James: The right-backs long ball forward which Silva swept for Aubameyang’s goal. He was calm and didn’t use much of his threatening skills in this match.

Ben Chilwell: Tricky attackers kept him pretty busy so he couldn’t offer much upfront on forwards.

Jorginho: Was replaced after 55 mins as his passing was poor in the game after getting tortured midfield due to heavy pressure.

Mateo Kovacic: Loosing the ball and lacking in passing with precision were two drawbacks for him today.
