The Telegraph reported that Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo did not agree to advertise Saudi Arabia as a tourist destination.
To take part in the advertising campaign the footballer was offered €6m but he refused, according to the source.
The player would have had to visit the country if he accepted the offer, and also Saudi Arabia would have been able to use his image for advertising.
Barcelona striker Lionel Messi is also said to have received a similar offer, but his response is not yet known.
