Cagliari striker Kiril Despodov is in quarantine as he tested positive for COVID-19 announced the club.
Cagliari took a crucial step by testing players during their summer break just days before the start of the pre-season training and Despodov tested positive for coronavirus.
The quarantine procedure for the forward has begun, he is currently on vacation in Bulgaria and is asymptomatic, confirms Cagliari’s statement.
Despodov can resume training and will be allowed to travel back to Sardinia after h completes the quarantine period and tests negative.
