To keep France’s top flight at 20 clubs next season, the relegation of Toulouse and Amiens from Ligue 1 was confirmed after a vote was approved.

A French court ordered the league to rethink its proposals, while both were relegated because of the coronavirus pandemic as the season ended prematurely.

On Friday a decision was confirmed by the French Football Federation and the clubs have since voted for a 20-team division.

It also said we will be playing the French Cup final on 24 July.

France’s first official professional game will be Paris St Germain vs. St Etienne since March’s stoppage of play.

A week later the final of the League Cup between PSG and Lyon. PSG were crowned champions of Ligue 1 after the season was officially ended on April 30.
