Chris Wilder who is the manager of Sheffield United, says that he would welcome the inclination of any player who may not feel positive returning to football amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The Project Restart of the Premier League will finally come to life with a return to match action, with the Bundesliga scheduled to return on May 16 and the Turkish Super Lig expected to follow suit in June.
Players were given the option to give their opinion where some are willing to get back on the field while some have their families’ safety as a priority.
Wilder said to BeIN Sports, “If any player makes the decision and comes to me saying it’s not for me I’d appreciate that.”
The Blades are seventh in the table and Wilder admits his team is keen to end the season, but not so much because of their own outstanding effort.
In case relegation from the division is taken off the table, a variety of clubs have been recorded to diminish their resistance to attempts to restart the season.
