In Premier League, on Tuesday night Chelsea will host Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge knowing that a victory would see them move into the top four. Here is the best guess on Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion lineup and prediction.

Team Lineup

Chelsea: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Rudiger; Hudson-Odoi, Jorginho, Kante, Alonso; Mount, Havertz, Pulisic

On Tuesday’s match against Manchester City, Chelsea was without both Mateo Kovacic and Andreas Christensen and it’s likely that either will be unfit for Tuesday’s match.

On the other hand, in Saturday’s FA Cup match against the Citizens Thiago Silva had to be substituted due to a back injury, and the Brazilian is unlikely to play here, meaning Kurt Zouma may be called into the starting lineup.

Tuchel is expected to make a few changes from the team that faced Pep Guardiola’s side, with Edouard Mendy, Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Marcos Alonso, and Callum Hudson-Odoi all possible starters.

Brighton & Hove Albion: Sanchez; White, Dunk, Veltman; Gross, Lallana, Bissouma, Moder; Trossard, Maupay, WelbeckWe say: Chelsea 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Although Florin Andone and Percy Tau are in doubt, Tariq Lamptey and Solly March missed Brighton’s selection due to injury.

Aaron Connolly is unlikely to appear as he has been out with a foot injury but could return at Stamford Bridge; with Potter likely to stick with Neal Maupay, Danny Welbeck, and Leandro Trossard in the final third.

Dan Burn and Adam Webster have both returned to training after injuries, but the back three that held a clean sheet against Everton should be retained, with Jakub Moder keeping his place as the left-sided wing-back.

Chelsea vs Brighton Prediction

Brighton has the expertise to make this a tricky game for Chelsea, who would have had little time to prepare for the match. In the last away match at Old Trafford, The Seagulls were impressive, but we still expect Tuchel’s side to win by a slim margin to earn another crucial three points.

Our Prediction: Chelsea vs. Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1

It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
