Chelsea faces two injuries within the first half against Man City. During the opening period of their Premier League matches against Manchester City, Chelsea suffered two injuries. Due to their separate injuries, Raheem Sterling andhad to be removed from the game. Five minutes after the game began, Sterling was sent off. Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took his position. After getting hurt, the former City and Liverpool player walked right into the tunnel.
Then, shortly after, American superstar Christian Pulisic left the game midway through the first half, dealing Graham Potter’s team another serious blow. Carney Chukwemeka took over as the former Borussia Dortmund star’s replacement. At the very end of the first half, Chukwuemeka was denied by the post. Despite their injury problems, Chelsea was the superior team in the first half, and the Stamford Bridge crowd applauded them as they exited the field at halftime.
But in the second half, Manchester City started to take back the initiative. The Blues had trouble getting their lines cleared. Riyad Mahrez’s game-winning goal, which Jack Grealish assisted on, gave the Cityzens the victory in the end.
