On Wednesday night, five additional Gameweek 12 contests are played, with Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur following four 7.30 pm BST kickoffs. With the games coming thick and fast this evening, Jurgen Klopp and Graham Potter have made several adjustments, as expected or anticipated.

The Liverpool manager will start Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabio Carvalho, Kostas Tsimikas, Jordan Henderson, and Darwin Nunez at Anfield tonight. James Milner, Harvey Elliott, Andy Robertson, and Fabinho will sit out, and Diogo Jota will now be out for months.

Flynn Downes makes his Premier League debut for West Ham under David Moyes, who also starts the fit-again Kurt Zouma and Pablo Fornals. Emerson Palmieri and Vladimir Coufal have been reduced to fill-in duties, and Lucas Paqueta is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury.

Similar to Klopp, Graham Potter has made five changes to the lineup from the weekend’s 2-0 victory against Aston Villa. Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Mateo Kovacic, Raheem Sterling, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are all dismissed from the game, leaving only Chilwell on the sidelines. They are replaced by Kalidou Koulibaly, Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Conor Gallagher, and Armando Broja.

Brentford, the hosts, makes two adjustments to the lineup from the 2-0 victory over Brighton last Friday. Zanka and Mads Roerslev replace Kristoffer Ajer and Yoane Wissa in the starting lineup. One change per player is made in the later kickoff. In a 3-5-2 formation at Old Trafford, Antonio Conte chooses to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with Marcus Rashford for the Red Devils and Yves Bissouma for the Spurs instead of Richarlison, who is injured.

On Tyneside, an unaltered Newcastle takes on an Everton club that has Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Anthony Gordon back in the lineup. Neal Maupay and Dwight McNeil make room for the Toffees. For the south-coast non-derby, Bournemouth, which is located about 300 miles south, is likewise unaltered. The injured Armel Bella-Kotchap is replaced by Duje Caleta-Car as the sole change for the visiting Southampton team.
