Chelsea and Brighton and Hove Albion draw with a goalless match in the 32nd round of the English Football Championship played at Stamford Bridge.

It was a slow start to the game when in the 12th minute Havertz wins it up the pitch and finds Ziyech, who delivers towards the back post but Alonso can’t quite get on the end of it. As for the game itself, Chelsea is lucky to have won one point because the Blues players did not show anything, especially in the second half.

In the end, Brighton had three great chances but missed to take advantage, and the closest goal was Danny Welbeck who hit the post in the 80th minute.

Both the teams failed to hit the net thus the match ended with a 0-0 tie.

While the entry of fans was not allowed in the stadium the “Blues” fans protested outside the stadium for the involvement of the London club in the Super League.

Chelsea fans displayed banners criticizing the club for choosing to join the controversial Super League by asking owner Roman Abramovich to ‘do the right thing’.

“Fans, not customers,” “Our Club,” “We want our cold evenings in Stoke,” are just some of the messages from Chelsea fans.

Later Chelsea officially announced to withdraw from European Super League and the protest quickly turned into a celebration.

The visitors were left without Ben White in the second minute of extra time.

Manchester City is leading the table with 74 points, eight more than city rival United.

Leicester City is sitting in third place with 56 points, while Chelsea and West Ham have 55 points each.
