Kane snatches a point for Tottenham Spurs with a stoppage-time header in a 2-2 draw with Chelsea.

The Blues were in control in the first half, and Koulibaly rifled them ahead with a brilliant volley from a corner.

Spurs’ equaliser came out of nowhere, with Jorginho losing the ball in his box and Hojbjerg drilling it in.

It looked like James had sealed the points with his strike, but Kane glanced in a corner in the 96th minute to earn the draw.

Tempers boiled over in the second half, though, with both managers being shown a red card for another argument after the final whistle.

Starting lineup:

CHELSEA STARTING XI (3-4-2-1): Edouard Mendy; Reece James, Thiago Silva, Kalidou Koulibaly; Ruben Loftus-Cheek, N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Marc Cucurella; Mason Mount, Kai Havertz; Raheem Sterling.

CHELSEA SUBS: Trevoh Chalobah, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Cesar Azpilicueta, Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Christian Pulisic.

TOTTENHAM STARTING XI (3-4-2-1): Hugo Lloris; Christian Romero, Eric Dier, Ben Davies; Emerson Royal, Rodrigo Bentancur, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Ryan Sessegnon; Dejan Kulusevski, Son Heung-Min; Harry Kane.

TOTTENHAM SUBS: Yves Bissouma, Fraser Forster, Bryan Gil, Ivan Perisic, Matt Doherty, Lucas Moura, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, Richarlison.

KOULIBALY SCORES! From the resulting corner, Chelsea lead! It’s a great cross from Cucurella, and Koulibaly is in acres of space next to the penalty spot. He watches it drop and hits the shot on the volley. Sterling ducks out the way of it and Lloris has no chance of stopping it. 1-0 Chelsea!

HOJBJERG EQUALISES! Jorginho loses the ball inside his box, and Davies touches it to Hojbjerg. He keeps his shot low as he drills it through the crowd of bodies in the box, and Mendy sees it late, so he can do nothing to stop it from nestling into the bottom corner. 1-1!

JAMES SCORES! Kulusevski is caught on the ball, and the Spurs just can’t get back into their shape in time. Sterling sets himself to take a shot from the edge of the D but slides it through to James, who has acres of space in the box. He first hits the shot, firing it past Lloris into the back of the net. 2-1 Chelsea!

KANE EQUALISES! The spurs have come back again! It’s another good delivery from Pulisic, and this time, Kane isn’t picked up as he moves towards the near post. He leaps highest and glances his header on. Mendy is static on his line and can’t stop it from hitting the bottom corner. 2-2!

So, what’s next?

That draw sees both teams move onto four points in the table. Next up for Chelsea is a trip to Leeds United, while Tottenham hosts Wolves next weekend.
