Carlo Ancelotti, Everton’s head coach chatted about Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Milan’s forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“When Ibra went to America, I thought it was goodbye. But instead, he scored in all the matches. Now that he’s back in Italy, I thought it was over, but he scores again every Sunday. And you also ask if I wanted to see him at Napoli,” Ancelotti said to Tiki Taka.
“He is as immortal as Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s easy to keep playing, but they don’t just go out on the field, they score all the time. It is not that easy.”
“I never told Cristiano to stop because he is better than the others. That has never happened. You don’t have to be a scientist to understand it.”
Both Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo worked under Ancelotti’s leadership.
Scoring 8 goals and giving one successful assist the Swede played 5 games in Series A this season. Ronaldo scored 6 goals and provided 1 assist in 4 games of the championship.
