Mats Hummels Post Match Reaction:

BB veteran defender Mats Hummels first called the incredible there-goal-comeback, “an awesome emotional victory.”

The 33-year-old, never shy about calling out his teammates for defensive lapses, then proceeded to discuss the passing errors that enabled Frankfurt to go up 2-0 in the first place.

“It’s very exhausting,” Hummels noted, “We’re constantly conceding goals from situations that we shouldn’t be conceding from. These stories have been told before, but they just keep happening.”

“We have to find a way to manage a game in a dominant fashion throughout,” Hummels continued, “otherwise it’s just more ‘Wild-West football.”
