Kai Havertz is competent in taking Eden Hazard’s place at Chelsea or starring at Liverpool, but the Bayer Leverkusen starlet has been advised that it is “too early” for him to make a Premier League move, according to Dimitar Berbatov.

Ex-Manchester United striker Berbatov said to Betfair: “This week, Kai Havertz has been linked to a move to the Premier League and that doesn’t surprise me.

“He’s had decent efficiency and in the future, he’ll be getting much stronger. Not only was I really happy to see him, but the Leverkusen squad came back extremely good in their victory over Werder Bremen.”

“Havertz has to get accustomed to the sounds that are being made towards him after Monday night’s two goals as teams are going for him.”

“He’s had the competition so they won’t go anywhere if he stays the way he’s moving teams will always be there. At the moment all eyes are on the Bundesliga and it’s no joke that clubs such as Liverpool like you as you score goals and play good football.”

“I’d like to see Havertz at any point in the Premier League but not right now. I think it’s a bit too early for him, I want to see him play more games, score more goals, develop more confidence and experience.”

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
