Zinedine Zidane sent a message to players from Real Madrid ahead of the return of LaLiga Santander, Karim Benzema has revealed the message.
Los Blancos is back to group practice, and the French striker said his fellow countryman asked his squad to enjoy their football as games resumed.
“Zidane’s message is to enjoy and play football,” he told Real Madrid’s official channels.
“Today we already played more with the ball than last week’s [training], which was more physical.”
“It is better to be with everyone and [train] with the ball because at home it is more difficult to be just touching the ball.”
“[At home] it is more gym and fitness work.”
He is happy to get the chance to finish the season with his teammates, continued Benzema.
“We really want to get back to the competition and win games,” he continued.
“It is difficult to go two months without touching the ball.”
“Now we are doing well and we are going to continue working together.”
“The first [game], against Eibar at home, is very important and we will give everything until the end.”
“It is different to play behind closed doors because we always need the fans but I hope that they are all supporting us in front of the television.”
“We know that we have to win the matches because it is important and we’ll give it everything we’ve got.”
