Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich will take a four-point lead into the top-of-the-table conflict beside Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, after an exciting winning above Eintracht Frankfurt.

Narrowing the gap at the top to a single point Bayern staged the accurate answer with Dortmund previous Saturday, barring a three-minute period.

With a header less than a minute, Robert Lewandowski added to in the second half, the superb strike by Leon Goretzka and a close-range finish by Thomas Muller gave them a 2-0 half-time lead.

The first one a mishit volley, the second one a header from a corner, scoring through defender Martin Hinteregger twice in three minutes Frankfurt staged an unlikely fightback.

When Alphonso Davies capitalized on a defensive mistake to make it 4-2 before Hinteregger bundled the ball over his own line following Serge Gnabry’s flick for Bayern’s fifth, however, any hopes the visitors had of a famous result were dashed.

This season, on the bounce courtesy of conceding five to Bayern, struggling Frankfurt has now lost five Bundesliga games for the second time
