Marc Bartra spoke regarding the judgment to give Sevilla a penalty while their match with Real Betis on Thursday night.
Former Barcelona man of fouling Luuk de Jong was arbitrated by referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz, who now gave a penalty to the defender.
In the opening game of the return of LaLiga Santander as Seville hit his local rivals, Lucas Ocampos scored the penalty.
“It’s incredible,” Bartra told Movistar when asked about the penalty.
“I’ve won the position in the air, I jump before and De Jong finds himself with my arms. I think it was a turning point.”
