On Thursday, after two quickfire goals gave them a 2-1 comeback win at Athletic Bilbao in La Liga, Seville remained firmly on course to earn a berth in the Champions League next season.

Out of 35 games on 63 points, the results left Seville fourth six more than fifth-placed Villarreal with three games remaining. Bilbao remained ninth on 48 points, after a blow to their hopes of clinching a Europa League berth.

Seville’s fightback inspired by midfielder Ever Banega, after dropping back in the first half to an Ander Capa goal, equalizing in the 69th minute before setting up four minutes later Munir El Haddadi ‘s winner.

Shortly after coming on, Substitute El Haddadi turned the match on its head, heading home from close range after Banega whipped in a perfect inswing cross from the right.

On Sunday, 12th, while Bilbao is going on a visit to Levante, Mallorca that is threatened by relegation will host Sevilla.
