Athletic are planning to replace head coach Gaizka Garitano. Due to a bad start in the season, his future is uncertain, reports Marca.
Athletic have shortlisted three specialists: Mauricio Pochettino, Ernesto Valverde, and Marcelino.
Pochettino is the least expected of these three, as he is supposed to have various offers from top clubs in the coming future. The club will also be inadequate to pay him a salary of around 10 million euros a year.
As for Marcelino and Valverde, it is assumed that their chances are approximately equal.
