In the Premier League, Manchester United has been inspired by Bruno Fernandes to another impressive victory and deepened Aston Villa’s concerns over relegation.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side extended their unbeaten streak to 17 games in all competitions continuing their impressive recent run,  and closed to Leicester fourth.

As the low strike cannoned off the post by Mahmoud Trezeguet, they had to repel a fast start from the hosts at Villa Park.

The miss proved vital as after being tripped by Ezri Konsa the excellent Fernandes converted from the penalty spot, though it seemed to be a foul on the Villa defender by the Portuguese international.

United dominated the contest’s possession and pace and doubled its advantage by teenager Mason Greenwood, who further stressed his brutal finishing skill by firing in his 16th of the campaign.

Paul Pogba stroked in a lovely third and with the heavy loss leaving Villa at the second bottom, four points safely adrift with four games left Anthony Martial smashed against the crossbar.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
