Mikel Arteta, head coach of Arsenal has reviewed the results of the 0-0 EPL match against Crystal Palace.
“We lacked freshness and quality in the final third of the pitch. We went into that area many times, but there were no serious chances. I wanted to see a win today and some goals scored, but we were tired,” said Arteta to BBC Sport.
“Roy Hodgson has done similar things throughout his career, that’s how he has beaten many big teams. We had a plan but we didn’t implement it.”
“Maybe we didn’t do enough to win. We played a lot of games and you have to pay the price for tiredness. A lot of players didn’t have the freshness.”
