At the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, Arsenal set a new Premier League club record after holding Manchester United to a goalless draw writes Goal.

Edinson Cavani and Alexandre Lacazette both spurned glorious chances of winning the match for their sides in an open and end-to-end game when both English giants came away with a point each.

The outcome means that Arsenal have gone undefeated in the top flight against Man United after losing 2-1 at Old Trafford in the 2017-18 season – a streak of six league games without a loss against the Red Devils for the first time in 38 years -.

Mikel Arteta has yet to see his side lose or ship a goal to Man United since taking over between October 1980 and May 1983, when the Gunners last experienced such a long undefeated streak against their opponents.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
